
A woman in her 90s has been airlifted to hospital following a collision in Barrow.
Police were called at around 2.40pm yesterday, February 9, to the two-vehicle incident on Park Road.
The collision involved a Citroen C1 and Nissan Qashqai.
The driver of the Nissan, a woman in her 60s, was taken to Furness General Hospital with minor injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle, a woman in her 90s, was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries.
Another passenger, a man in his 90s, was taken to Furness General Hospital with chest injuries.
The driver of the Citroen was uninjured.
Two fire engines attended the collision.
