Kirkby Lonsdale were on the receiving end of the highest-ever score in British rugby union.
The struggling Cumbrian club went down 190-0 at Blackburn in a Regional 1 North West clash.
It topped the previous worst scoreline of 177-3 set in December 1996 when Norwich beat Eccles and Attleborough in a Norfolk Cup match.
Kirkby Lonsdale are bottom of the table without a single point all season and in 19 League games have conceded over 1,400 points.
Relegated a number of weeks ago they still have three games to play before the end of what has been a miserable season.
Blackburn have led the table for most of the season, until recently falling behind Lymm but this massive win puts them back on top on points differential.
In rattling-up the huge total Blackburn scored 30 tries which is quicker than one every three minutes – 20 of which were converted.
Fourteen different Blackburn players got on the score-sheet led by Conner Scrivens with six tries and Josh Jarrold with 12 of the goals.
The only consolation for Kirkby Lonsdale was that it wasn’t a world record score.
That still stays in Denmark when, back in 1973, Comet beat Lindo 194-0.
