Tourism and hospitality businesses across Cumbria are invited to attend a Tourism Breakfast Briefing later this month.
The event starts at 9.30am and is set to finish at noon on March 21 and will be held at The Old Fire Station in Carlisle.
It will provide updates on how Allerdale Borough Council, Copeland Borough Council and Carlisle City Council are supporting the industry, plus feature expert speakers and interactive sessions.
Following a free breakfast, presentations are planned from Adam Phillips, of the Lake District National Park Authority, Rachel Bell, of Lake District Estates, Katie Reed, of Copeland Borough Council, Danni Armstrong, of Allerdale Borough Council, Ben Heslop, of Cumbria County Council, Paul Walker, of Carlisle City Council, and Will Morgan from The Old Fire Station.
Allerdale council’s leisure and tourism portfolio holder, Councillor Tony Markley, said: “Following the success of last year’s tourism conference, the Tourism Breakfast Briefing aims to provide business owners with another fantastic opportunity to learn how they can benefit from the excellent initiatives being organised by Allerdale Borough Council, Copeland Borough Council, and Carlisle City Council.
“I would like to encourage businesses across Allerdale and further afield to register their attendance for the Tourism Breakfast Briefing and seize the opportunity to listen to several great presentations from a fantastic line-up of expert speakers, to network with their peers, and to better understand what local councils are doing to support them”.
The deadline for registration for the event is Sunday 19 March at 11:59pm. Register for the event here.
