A National Conference League Division Three derby was called off because of the state of the pitch.
Hensingham were due to entertain Seaton this afternoon but a pitch inspection at teatime yesterday produced the thumbs down.
A spokesman said: “Unfortunately the bad weather has taken it’s toll on our pitches and the National Conference game as well as the Under-16s junior fixture this week-end have been postponed.”
But Hensingham did their bit for charity this morning with another drop-off date for supporters and friends to donate items for the Great North Air Ambulance – a charity being supported by the club.
