Wath Brow and Kells continued their good starts to the new National Conference League season.
After three games both occupy top five positions and the Hornets still boast an unbeaten record – one of only three in the Premier Division.
Wath Brow comfortably saw-off visitors Hull Dockers 40-0 and were well on the way at half-time with a 24-0 advantage.
Jay Weatherill (2), Greg Howland and Jake Moore scored tries in the first-half, all of which were converted by Sam Curwen.
Seven minutes into the second-half Weatherill completed his hat-trick, again converted by Curwen.
It was Curwen who got in on the try-scoring with a touchdown on 52 minutes and ironically that was the only conversion he missed.
The scoring was completed six minutes from time when Greg Rooney added the seventh try and Curwen tacked-on the extras.
Last week Wath Brow had drawn at Lock Lane and the Castleford side followed-up against Cumbrian opposition, travelling to Kells.
But this time there was nothing in it for them as Peter Smith’s side ground out a 12-4 win and left Lock Lane winless after three games.
If they are to improve on that the Lane will need to tighten-up on discipline as during the course of the game they had three men sent to the sin bin – all for dissent.
Kells had taken the lead on 18 minutes when Jake Parker nipped over and Ross Gainford added the conversion.

The first yellow card for Lock Lane on 25 minutes incurred further damage as Gainford put over the subsequent penalty.
The visitors were back in it on 32 minutes when Lewis Price scored an unconverted try. But Price was next into the sin-bin on 58 minutes.
Kells couldn’t take advantage during his absence but when Ben Thompson was yellow-carded on 74 minutes they did.
Sam Murtagh scored an unconverted try three minutes from time to clinch the victory.
Egremont Rangers had to fight-back after going 12-0 down at home to Stanningley inside the first quarter.
They did so convincingly and ran-out 26-12 winners to collect their second win of the season.
They had pulled it back to 12-6 by half-time with a try from Tom Horner which was converted by Kris Tyson.
Two minutes after the re-start they got closer with a try from Aaron Turnbull and they then went ahead with a try from Matt Hutchins.
Gradually Rangers pulled clear with further tries from John Paul Brocklebank and Dawson Webster which were both converted by Tyson.
In Division Two Barrow Island were beaten 46-26 at East Leeds who were recording their first win of the season.

They were up against it at half-time, trailing 22-6 but it was more even in the second period, although they never looked like closing the gap.
They did match their hosts try for try in the second period with touchdowns from Jake Stockdale (2), Elliot Campbell and Finley Dutton-Rosconi after Shane Sanderson had crossed in the first half. Adam Jackson kicked three goals.
Ellenborough Rangers, playing their third Cumbrian derby to start life in Division Three, suffered their first defeat when they went down 26-18 at Millom.
They had trailed 14-12 at half-time but seemed to be coming through strongly when they went in front for the first time on 59 minutes.
But then it all went wrong as they had Jordan Ostle sin-binned for a professional foul and Millom came back to lead by two points.
A converted try two minutes from the end sealed an important win for Millom as they join Elbra and four others on four points.
Louis Fearon, Sean Mumberson and Owen Hoyles scored the Ellenborough tries with Hoyles kicking three goals.
For Millom there were tries for Jonathan Hodgson, Niall Harris, Adam Kelly and Austin Mossop with five goals from Lee Postlethwaite.
The other Cumbrian derby in Division Three – Hensingham v Seaton – was called off because of the state of the Hensingham pitch.
