A long trip to Goole on Saturday won’t faze Cockermouth’s head coach Jeff Clare.
The Wasps have been drawn away in the quarter final of their Papa John’s Community trophy tie but he’s happy.
“We will have to be on our metal because Goole are a good side but I think it will be well within our capabilities,” he said after the draw was made.
Cockermouth beat West Hartlepool 20-19 to reach the last eight, while Goole earned a walk-over when opponents Keighley withdrew.
Wigton are also involved in knockout action at the weekend, and they have to travel as well to face West Leeds.
David Warwick, the Wigton coach said: “Although West Leeds finished eighth in Yorkshire 1 behind champions Goole their results have improved a lot since the turn of the year.
“They put 70 points on Warrington at the week-end to get through in this competition so it will be a big challenge for us.
“A familiar name on the wing for them is Mark Calderwood, the ex-Workington Town, Leeds and Wigan player so it will be a great experience for our young backs playing against him.
“There is no pressure or expectations on us. We will go and try our hardest and make sure we enjoy the day and have a good bus trip back.”
