
All four quarter finals of the Higson Cup were called off yesterday because of the wet weather throughout Cumbria.
No new dates have been confirmed although it has already been suggested that Lindal Moor v Furness will go ahead this coming Sunday.
Furness had got through their first round tie with Egremont on Sunday to continue their winning start to their League and Cup campaign.
Like current Cumbria League leaders Workington their only defeat so far has come in the ECB National Cup.
Furness are currently without their Cumbria county batsman Nathan Waterston who is nursing two broken ribs from a fielding accident.
Also called off yesterday were the ties – Workington v Cleator; Carlisle v Cockermouth and Keswick v Whitehaven.
