
Three men have been seriously injured after police raided a suspected cannabis farm in Carlisle.
Officers were called at around 2.45pm yesterday, May 10, to the city’s Lancaster Street, after reports that a farm was being operated from a premises.
Cumbria police said: “Officers attended and gained access to the property and a farm was located. Three men were arrested.
“Two of the men sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. A further man, also sustaining serious injuries, was taken to hospital via air ambulance.”
The spokesman added that officers were currently at the scene and residents may see an increased police presence in the area.
