Cumbria’s dancing queen Helen Skelton will reopen a Penrith shop following its major revamp.
Go Outdoors, on Ullswater Road, will hold an official opening event on June 3 and brand ambassador Helen will be cutting the ribbon at 9am.
The first 200 customers through the doors will get a £20 gift voucher and the following 100 with a free goodie bag worth £25.
The new store, which employs 35 people, will have new equestrian and bike departments. It opens for business on May 30.
Store manager Graeme Humes said: “We are extremely excited and proud to open the newly refurbished Go Outdoors.
“We have had a brilliant couple of years at Go, as more and more people are reaping the benefits of the outdoors for their physical and mental well-being, and this expansion is the outcome of that success.”
