Fire crews from five stations spent seven hours tackling a major blaze in north Cumbria.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was called at around 1.10pm yesterday, May 25, to a building near Brackenhill, Longtown.
The upper stories were on fire and a search by firefighters confirmed no one was in the building.

The blaze had spread to the roof and crews from Longtown, Brampton, Carlisle East, Carlisle West, Shap and Penrith worked to contain it to the main building, preventing it spreading into an extension at the rear.
The aerial ladder platform from Carlisle was used alongside the CFRS water bowser from Penrith.
Longtown Fire Station said: “Crews were on scene for seven hours in difficult conditions and have been undertaking inspections overnight.”
