A Carlisle man has admitted two drugs supply crimes after being caught with a criminal stash potentially worth around £11,000.
Daniel Muca, 39, appeared in front of judge at the city’s crown court.
Muca pleaded guilty to possessing both class A controlled substance cocaine and class B cannabis with intent to supply.
His crimes were committed on May 4 this year.
But the prosecution claim the level of Muca’s involvement in the offences is more serious than he has so far been prepared to accept. As a result, further out-of-court discussions are to take place in a bid to reach agreement between all parties.
Currently, the differences are such as would affect the level of punishment that Muca will receive.
Judge Nicholas Barker adjourned the case until July 3, when an update will be provided to the court and a decision taken on how best to proceed.
In the meantime Muca, off Garden Street, off London Road, has been remanded in custody.
