A HGV which attempted a three point turn on Hardknott Pass is now blocking the road.
The lorry, from Breezemount Home Delivery, has managed to get itself wedged and it is thought it could be there for a while as a telehandler will have to be brought in to remove it.
This has been reported by people on social media yesterday, but the police traffic map is not showing that the road is closed.
