A new vape shop has opened its doors in Kendal town centre.
Trading as Kendal Vapes, the new shop has opened in a unit that is part of a Grade II listed building on the corner of Stramongate and Blackhall Road, thought to have once been a theatre.
The family owned firm was founded in 2014 has nine other shops across the North of England – with another set to be opening imminently in Bowness-on-Windermere.
Waseem Akhtarr from Kendal Vapes, said: “Since we launched the business in 2014, we’ve become one of the fastest growing E-cigarette and vaping retailers in the North of England.
“Opening our 10th store, and our first in the Lake District, is a big milestone for our business and it’s already proving popular with both Kendal’s residents and tourists alike.”
The building is owned by an Ilkley-based property investment company and was marketed by commercial property specialists Carigiet Cowen with an asking rent of £13,000.
