
A man was attacked by a gang of four people who got out of their car and began punching him.
Police are investigating the assault, which took place at around 12.45am on September 1 in the Senhouse Street and King Street areas of Maryport.
Those involved in the assault were driving a black vehicle.
Four people stepped out of the vehicle, began shouting at a man in his 40s and then punched his face and body before leaving the area.
The victim did not report suffering any injuries as a result.
It was reported to police on September 11.
