A home was burgled in the early hours of Tuesday in a Lake District town.
The property on College Road in Windermere was broken into between 4.30am and 5.45am and during the incident two men were assaulted, with one man sustaining an injury to the face.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time to come forward and are asking residents in the surroundign areas to review any CCTV or dashcam footage available for that time.
Officers are particularly interested in finding four men who were seen in the area of College Road around these times. One of the men was wearing a blue jacket.
