
Keswick maintained their unbeaten start to life in the Cumberland County League’s First Division.
But they needed an own goal to set them on their way against Whitehaven Miners Social Development in their latest home fixture.
That separated the teams at half-time and in the second half Callum West scored to double the lead and clinch the points for Keswick.
However, Cockermouth scored a 4-1 win against Silloth to keep them top of the table on goal difference.
The Cumberland League top scorer Luke Graham netted himself a hat-trick with Caine Winter also finding the back of the net for Cockermouth. Adam Steel grabbed himself a goal for Silloth.

Second place Whitehaven AFC Reserves kept up the pressure on Cockermouth as they travelled to Bransty Rangers and came away with a 2-1 win in this derby fixture. Jack Hawleyand Ben Powell we’re on the scoresheet for Whitehaven and Liam O’Pray was Bransty goal scorer.
Dearham United travelled to Mirehouse and earned themselves a 5-2 win. United goal scorers were Brandon Brown (3), Jack Brown and Danny Manchester with Kyran Smith and Cyran Corlett netting for Mirehouse.
Dorin Covaci fired home his seventh goal of the season for Unisun Athletic when they hosted Whitehaven Miners Social in the County League’s Premier Division.
The games’ opening goal came 65 minute in when Covaci scored for Unisun. Lewis Park equalised for Miners on the 75th minute with the visitors then taking the lead through James Thursby in the 80th minute.

Jake Nicholson grabbed an injury time goal for Carlisle based Unisun as the points were shared in a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Tyler Harrell’s first half goal for Workington Reds Reserves wasn’t enough to get past Aspatria on Saturday as this game finished 1-1. Andrew Trestianu netted a 65th minute equaliser for Aspatria to ensure they earned a point.
Elsewhere Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves welcomed Maryport Athletic in their Benevolent Cup Round Two fixture.
A double from Ciaran Booty and another goal from Ciaran Laverty gave Maryport a 3-0 win to set up a quarter final meeting with Windscale Reserves.
