Workington Comets legend Carl Stonehewer is to be a special guest at the inaugural Speedway Show to be held in Warwickshire on November 18.
The show is for speedway fans and is presented by the fans at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.
Stoney will be interviewed at the Show by Craig Saul, discussing his successful career in the sport and what his current speedway project is all about.
In fact Stoney is writing a book about his time in the sport, which included a great career with the Comets and a place on the Grand Prix circuit.
The event will be a place for collectors to showcase their memorabilia, with speedway presented through displays and artefacts through the decades.
A display of bikes and memorabilia will rekindle memories while present-day riders will be there to sign autographs, chat and share selfies.
The show will be open from 9.30am until 4pm and a good number of Workington supporters are expected to make the trek to Warwickshire.
