
A man accused of murder in West Cumbria remains on bail, police said.
Officers are continuing to investigate after a man was found dead in Workington on Christmas Day.
The 33-year-old man was found dead in his home on the town’s Clay Street and a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Shortly after the incident, police said their enquiries to ascertain the exact circumstances of the 33-year-old’s death may take some time.
They added there were no other individuals relating to the investigation.
Police were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service shortly after 5.55pm on Christmas Day.
Officers cordoned off Workington’s South Watt Street, just beyond the junction with Oxford Street to the junction of North Watt Street, Fisher Street and Falcon Place on Boxing Day as part of the investigation.
