The Environment Agency is opening a new Community Flood Scheme Information Hub in Kendal.
It will be open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 12.
The hub replaces the former centre on Little Aynam which opened in May 2022.
The team will continue to provide the local community and visitors with information about the Flood Risk Management Scheme and people will have the opportunity to speak to the project team about the multi-million-pound flood project. The scheme will better protect over 1,480 homes and 1,150 homes when completed.
The new hub is next to Lidl supermarket and close to the new public amenity area at Beezon Fields on the banks of the River Kent.
It will be open every Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 4.30pm.
