A Lake District inn is on the market for £2.1 million.
The Three Shires Inn is in the heart of the Little Langdale Valley, at the foot of the Wrynose and Hard Knott passes.
It includes 10 individually themed bedrooms which have been decorated to a highstandard, as well as a traditional lounge and restaurant area featuring beamed ceilings and log-burning stoves.
Also included in a separate next-door property is a four-bedroom owners’ accommodation which a new owner may wish to use as additional letting accommodation.
The Three Shires has been owned and operated by Anthony Guthrie and James Wilkinson since 2018.
James said: “The Three Shires Inn is a great little business in a truly magical location. We have been privileged to run it for the last six years.”
Keith Stringer, business agent at Christie & Co who is handling the sale, added: “The Three Shires is a hospitality gem offering the opportunity to purchase an established and highly profitable freehold business in an idyllic honeypot location.”
