An investigation into the death of a man in Workington on Christmas Day is continuing.
A 38-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder, remains on police bail.
The 33-year-old victim was found dead in his home on the town’s Clay Street. In January, police said enquiries to ascertain the exact circumstances of his death may take some time.
They added there were no other individuals relating to the investigation.
Police were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service shortly after 5.55pm on Christmas Day.
Officers cordoned off Workington’s South Watt Street, just beyond the junction with Oxford Street to the junction of North Watt Street, Fisher Street and Falcon Place on Boxing Day as part of the investigation.
