Four games went ahead in the Sunday League’s latest mid-week programme – only half the scheduled fixtures as the weather played havoc again.

The games were all at different tiers of the League Cup competition which is being run in a League format this season.

Only one of the games was in Tier One with Northside winning 6-0 at Lowca. Kyle Graham (2), Max Litt, Callum Killick, Jamie Bramley and Chad Grisedale scored the goals.

In Tier Two Northside were too strong for Senhouse Street Club and they won 5-2 at Wakefield Road.

Luke Graham was the match star with four of the Orchard goals while Louis Pickering notched the other. Nick Wood and Dean Anderson were the Senhouse Street scorers.

The two other games were in Tier Three and honours were even at Salterbeck where the home side drew 1-1 with King’s Arms.

Niall Melton found the back of the net for Saltyerbeck with Dawson Webster replied for the visitors.

Flimby were comprehensive 6-2 winners over The Sun in the other game, led by Scott Underwood (2), Matthew Heaney, Lee Holliday, Karl Fillingham and Harvey Shimmings.

Hayden Whittingham and Jamie Pattinson scored for The Sun.

Matches for Sunday are as follows:

  • League One: Flimby v Senhouse Street; The Sun v Salterbeck; King’s Arms v Butchers.
  • Tier One League Cup – Dearham v FC Cosmos; Moresby v Northside.
  • Tier Two League Cup – Sun Inn v Thornhill; Bluebell v Deer Orchard.
