Day of celebration for Barrow Raiders

Win or lose against Featherstone Rovers on Sunday it’s a day of celebrations for Barrow Raiders.

The club is savouring the history and heritage of Barrow Raiders and has invited every player, coach or board member who has ever represented them over the years to come along to the game.

There are sure to be some wonderful reminiscing before and after the Championship game, but there’s also a women’s game to take in.

The Raiders will host Featherstone Rovers twice as part of a double-header against the West Yorkshire outfit, with the women taking to the field prior to the men’s fixture.

Head coach Paul Crarey has named his 21-man squad to face the Rovers with Greg Burke, Max Clarke, Delaine Gittens-Bedward and Mike Ogunwole all dropping out.

Harvey Makin returns to the club after departing on loan for London Broncos from parent club Wigan Warriors, while loanee Leigh Leopards prop Kavan Rothwell makes his way back into the fold.

The squad is:- Luke Broadbent, Ryan Brown, Andrew Bulman, Matt Costello, Luke Cresswell, Tom Forber, Ellis Gillam, James Greenwood, Ryan Johnston, Jacob Douglas, Harvey Makin, Finn McMillan, Kavan Rothwell, Razor Silva, Ryan Shaw, Jarrad Stack, Shane Toal, Brad Walker, Tom Walker, Tom Wilkinson, Josh Wood.
