Woman bitten by dog in Barrow

An appeal has been issued after a woman was bitten by a dog in Barrow.

Cumbria police are appealing for anyone to come forward if they know the owner of the dog or if they have come across it.

The incident happened on May 12 at around 5.30pm on Ramsden Street.

The dog has been described as a medium build, brown coloured dog similar looking to a Staffordshire bull terrier.

The dog was roaming around the streets with no owner.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting incident number 0203 of 12/05/2024 or call 101.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
