Workington Town are right back in the League One play-off picture after a 32-24 win at Hunslet made it four victories in a row.
Despite speculation about the future of coach Anthony Murray and a possible move to Keighley Cougars, Town produced a fine team performance to see off the side lying third in the table.
Although Hunslet had scored first, through a 13th minute try from Jude Ferreira, converted by Matty Beharrell, Town came back to lead 22-6 at the interval.
Livewire full-back Zarrin Galea started the recovery when he wriggled over from close range on 18 minutes, and although Carl Forber’s conversion attempt struck the post it was his only miss from seven attempts at goal.
Five minutes later they were in again to take the lead when they forced a goal-line drop-out and from it Tommy Brierley managed to force his way over in the corner.
When Forber spotted a gap and tore through it on 30 minutes to touchdown, Town were taking charge and Hunslet looked completely out of sorts.
The Cumbrians took advantage and five minutes before the interval the heavyweights ruled! Brad Brennan slipped a great pass to send Grant Reid charging over for the fourth try.

Hunslet clearly received a verbal tongue-lashing at half-time as they were quickly out of the blocks in the second-half and within two minutes Ethan O’Hanlon had got over and Beharrell did the rest.
Workington came back well, though, and after Forber had kicked a penalty Chris Taylor was first to react when the ball went loose and he touched down.
Again Hunslet rallied and Liam Carr went over on 57 minutes with Beharrell converting, but Town responded with another Forber penalty.

Town had to withstand plenty of late pressure but the defence held apart from on 74 minutes when Ferreira went in for his second try, again converted by Beharrell.
It’s onwards and upwards now for Town who have a home game on Sunday against North Wales when defeat would really curtail the Crusaders own push for the play-offs, so a massive game for both clubs.
