Cleator Moor Celtic completed a quick double over Poulton to make progress up the West Lancashire League table.
Celtic are now just short of half-way after their 2-0 win at Poulton which followed a recent 2-1 home success against the same side.
Ellis Trotter was the match-hero for Celtic, scoring both in the 19th and 54th minutes.
His first was a reward for good closing down as Poulton tried to play out from the back and once in possession he drove hard for the box before scoring with a low shot into the bottom corner.
The second was also a good finish and this came after he latched onto a flick from Hayley Cueto and again beat the home keeper with a clinical strike.
Celtic are quickly back ion action as they play Whitehaven Miners tomorrow night in the first round of the Fred Conway County Cup.
They are not back in West Lancashire League action on Saturday as they are without a fixture.
