Kendal’s Freddie Fallows has been selected once again to represent the NCCA (and England) in the 2024 European Cricket Championships in Málaga.
This year he is the only representative from Cumbria. Matthew Siddall was also selected last year although he missed most of the latter stages as illness affected the group.
Fallows has earned a reputation as a big-hitting, free-scoring batsman who put in some outstanding innings for Cumbria during the 2024 season at all formats.
Eight of the squad were part of the winning team last year. They will defend their title in the finals stage from October 15 to October 19.
The squad is: Dan Lincoln (Berkshire, capt and wk), Seb Allison (Northumberland), Johnny Connell (Berkshire), Freddie Fallows (Cumbria), Toby Greatwood (Berkshire), Rory Haydon (Staffordshire), Cameron Hemp (Buckinghamshire), Tom Hinley (Oxfordshire), Sam Keeling-Wright (Herefordshire), Nils Priestley (Staffordshire), David Scott (Dorset), Tommy Sturgess (Berkshire), Sam Young (Dorset).
