The Jive Aces

The Jive Aces – finalists in Britain’s Got Talent – will be in Keswick next month to help raise money for community projects.

The band will be appearing at Theatre by the Lake on November 2 to help Keswick Rotary Club’s initiatives in town to help the elderly and their carers.

The club has recently launched a new drop-in session on Friday afternoons at the Keswick Senior Citizen’s Club Centre on Heads Road.

The sessions provide activity and entertainment for elderly folk and their carers, together with an opportunity for respite for carers.

The club is also working with Keswick Museum towards supporting the Tuesday Tonic sessions for those living with dementia.

The Jive Aces aims to spread smiles and cheer with swinging music from crooning ballads to honking rhythm and blues and classic rock and roll.

Their video of Bring Me Sunshine has over 3.7 million views on YouTube.

The concert takes place on Saturday November 2 at 7.30pm, and funds will go to Rotary’s support of dementia charities and to the costs of running the new projects in Keswick.

Tickets are available from here.
