A unique north Cumbrian hotel could be yours for £595,000.
White Heather Hotel, on the edge of Kirkbride Airfield, near Wigton is on the market with Sidney Phillips.
The six-bedroom venue features a bar/restaurant with 170 covers and a ballroom/dining room with a 250-plus capacity.
A former RAF hotel, it is set in around four acres of land, including a 400-space car park, which can also be used for helicopter landings. There is also permission for a six-bedroom bungalow to be built in the grounds.
The current owners say: “We frequently cater for pilots and their passengers who use our car park to park the plane and pop in for a spot of lunch or dinner.”
Currently, the business is open two days a week.
Sidney Phillips say: “The business offers much potential for growth by opening seven days a week and through more extensive marketing focusing on weddings, private events, functions and conferences.
“In addition, the six-bedroom dwelling can be developed and there is scope to use the sizeable plot of land for glamping pods or touring caravans.”
The sale includes all fixtures and fittings.
