
Carlisle grabbed a stoppage time equaliser at Bromley to earn a vital 1-1 draw.
Teenage loanee from Bournemouth Dan Adu-Adjei scored the important goal in the second minute of the nine added on.
Bromley didn’t deal with a long throw into the area and Adu-Adjei had time to swivel and shoot past Grant Smith.
Bromley had been reduced to 10 men seven minutes from the end of normal time when substitute Lewis Leigh was shown a straight red for a dangerous challenge.
It had been a very competitive first half and Carlisle goalkeeper Gabe Breeze made the best save when he was forced to tip over a dangerous header from Omar Sowunmi.
Carlisle’s best effort had come from Dom Sadi who did really well to fashion himself a chance but although he connected well it was dealt with by Smith.
Bromley broke the deadlock in the 54th minute from the penalty spot. A dangerous looking run by Danny Imray was stopped illegally and Michel Cheek knocked home the subsequent spot kick for his 8th goal of the season.
Nineteen-year-old Adu-Adjei wasn’t far away after a clever run but his shot was just over as the visitors went close to an equaliser.
But it was Adu-Adjei who ensured there would be a more cheerful journey home to Cumbria when he did grab the goal which earned the point.
