Everyone is invited to an evening of festive fun in aid of Watchtree Nature Reserve.
Zing! at Christmas! will be held at Kirkbampton Village Hall on December 13 and will feature live music, food, and holiday cheer.
The show will feature the renowned Zing Pop Choir, performing two sets of Christmas classics to get you in the festive spirit.
Included in the entry fee is pie, mash, peas and gravy, followed by homemade sweet treats. Vegetarian alternatives are available.
All proceeds from the evening will go towards the purchase of a second defibrillator for Watchtree Nature Reserve in north Cumbria.
It will be installed in its all-terrain vehicle so that it is always on hand around the reserve and at our increasingly popular outdoor running and community events.
“Watchtree is at the heart of the local community, offering a safe and welcoming space for people to connect with nature and each other,” said Senga Grave, of Watchtree Nature Reserve.
“Our first defibrillator has been invaluable, but with the increase in activity at the reserve, a second device will ensure we are even better prepared for any unexpected emergencies.
“This concert is not just about celebrating Christmas; it’s about making a real difference to the safety and well-being of everyone who visits us.”
There will also be a licensed bar, raffle and people are encouraged to dress in their most festive attire for a chance to win a special prize.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy the joy of the season, and help support a cause” added the reserve’s Ryan Dobson. “The evening will be filled with music, laughter, and festive fun, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
