
Chris Sutton, chief executive of the Royal Pigeon Racing Association, was the special guest at the Cumberland Social Circle’s presentation night.
He handed out the trophies and points awards to a wide selection of lofts who fly in, what is referred to affectionately as, The Dicky Bow Tie Club.
The top loft for the 2024 season was that of Alan Graham and co, long distance specialists from Cleator Moor, who earned 21 points.
Just behind with 19 points were Morris and Wayne McLuckie of Workington with the Flimby loft of Varty, son and grandson third with 10 points.
