A note, which included a racial slur, was left next to a car that was damaged overnight in Carlisle.
Police are investigating the incident of criminal damage and harassment that happened between 6pm on November 23 and 10am on November 24.
A silver Peugeot 306 on Compton Street, Carlisle was damaged.
