A group of Cumbrian Razzamataz theatre students are set to perform at Disneyland Paris in 2025.
The 12 young performers from across the South Lakes have successfully passed their audition to perform as part of the theme park’s iconic parade.
Aged between nine to 15, the performers will be leading the pre-parade for guests to enjoy before the character parade takes place.
Thousands of visitors descend on the popular theme park every day and the parade is considered a big part of the park experience for visitors.
Asha Richardson, principal at Razzamataz South Lakes, said: “There are no words to describe how proud I am of every single one of our students and this incredible achievement.
“We are committed to building young people’s confidence and supporting their physical and mental health. Providing opportunities like this for our students is invaluable.
“The work we do at Razzamataz is about empowering young people and giving them the tools to strive to achieve their next goal and be the best version of themselves.”
The Disneyland Paris performance and experience is part of the Razzamataz Theatre Schools 25th Anniversary celebrations and aims to give students a chance to show off their skills and training.
The Cumbrian youngsters will be joined by other Razzamataz students from across the country to pull together a spectacular performance.
The youngsters now have nine months to perfect their routines ahead of the big day.
Friends and family of the students will be heading to Paris to support their stars at the big performance.
