
After a week away due to Storm Darragh, the Cumberland County League returned for the final round of fixtures of the year before it takes a break for Christmas.
In the Premier Division, Keswick welcomed Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves and nothing could separate these two sides as it ended 2-2.
Jamie Little and Bradley Fearns both netted for Keswick while Celtic goals came courtesy of Logan Fowler and Bradley Barwise.
The match between Unisun Athletic and Whitehaven Miners was abandoned due to a serious injury to Unisun player Ben Atkinson in the 75th minute.
Miners were leading the game 2-1 with goals from Kian Sim and Kyle Newberry while Atkinson scored for Unisun before his injury brought the match to an early end.
In Division One, Workington Juniors will end 2024 as league leaders after another victory, this time against Bransty Rangers 3-0. Ryan Byrne found the back of the net for Workington with the other two coming from own goals.
Mirehouse, who sit in second place and five points behind the league leaders, were also 3-0 winners when they played Cockermouth Reserves. Ryan Smith, Kyle Bailiff and Nicky McAllister all scored for Mirehouse.
Braces from Charlie Thomson and Jameslee Reynolds helped Unisun Athletic Youth Development to a 5-1 win against Whitehaven Miners Social Development.
Jack Dalton also found the net for Unisun with Miners been gifted an own goal.
Dearham United ended the year with a 4-1 win against Silloth with goals from Danny Dryden, Dylan Robinson, Ciaran Little and Callum Foy with Nathan Walsh scoring for Silloth.
The league will return on January 4.
