Firefighters are tackling a blaze in Barrow.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and the police were called to Rawlinson Street at around 12.10pm today, Tuesday December 31.
The road was closed at the junctions with James Street and Greengate Street and reopened at around 2.50pm.
People are asked to stay away from the area if possible.
