Two of the four cats who went missing following a suspected gas explosion in a West Cumbrian town have been found.
Six days after the incident on Hugh Street, Bransty, Whitehaven, Animal Concern Cumbria said Destiny was found in the ruins of the house affected.
Animal Concern Cumbria said: “She’s been to the vet and is suffering burns to her paws and face but otherwise is doing well and has been reunited with her sisters already in our care.”
Male tabby Fergal has also been found.
Animal Concern West Cumbria said they and Kenzie’s K9 animal search and rescue had managed to trap Fergal outside what used to be his home. He spent yesterday with the team at Millcroft Veterinary Group. The charity added: “He is now back with getting some much needed TLC.”

Two cats are still missing – a light grey female and a male tabby. Traps have been set to try and catch them.
The charity said: “Fenton has been seen hanging around but is proving a tad more elusive than his brother.
“There have still been no sightings of Fenix so please continue sharing our earlier post and contact us if you think you have seen her.”
Three people remain seriously injured in hospital.
