A man has been arrested after two burglaries overnight in Carlisle.
The burglaries were in the Currock and Upperby areas of the city at homes in Hasell Street and Oaklands Drive.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody today.
Property stolen included tools.
Police said they have recovered some property as part of the investigation, including some items which they cannot, at this point, connect to any house or person.
Police are asking for people living in the Currock and Upperby areas to check outhouses and sheds and let officers know if they believe anything has been stolen.
