John Teasdale and Mike Walker (+22) overcame Neil Dougherty and Lee Dougherty (+42) in a tightly contested 57-45 battle in the second and final doubles frame to secure an unassailable 4-0 lead for Station Road.
Frame five saw Chris McKelvey (+42) deliver a brilliant performance for the Rack Shack, defeating Tom Thompson (+22) 61-33, salvaging a frame for the visitors.
In the sixth frame of the match Lee Dougherty (+45) maintained the momentum for Rack Shack with a 65-40 victory over Mike Walker (+22).
In the last Neil Dougherty (+50) capped off Rack Shack’s late rally, defeating John Teasdale (+22) to end the match at 4-3 in Station Road’s favour.
Station Road remains at the top of the table with four wins out of four (20 frames won), while Rack Shack stay in ninth not having won yet but sitting on six frames.

In the next game Workington Golf Club delivered a strong 5-2 away win over Maryport Social, climbing into fifth place in the standings.
Ryan Ismay (+10) opened with a composed 64-29 win over Ben Scott (+39) in frame one to put the Golf Club 1-0 up.
Golf Club’s Simon Fraser (+12) extended the lead with a dominant 54-12 victory against Andrew Sharp (+45) in frame two for 2-0.
Simon Fraser and Bryan Walker (+11) defeated Gary Miller and Andrew Scott (combined +42) 72-27 in a polished third frame display to extend the Golfers lead to 3-0.
Mark Cowen and Phil Sorfleet (+12) sealed the match for Golf Club in the second of the doubles frames with a hard-fought 61-46 win over Ben Scott and Greg Todd (combined +46). Cowen’s break of 30 highlighting their victory.
Andrew Scott (+45) gave Maryport a lifeline in frame five, edging Bryan Walker (+20) 63-55 in a closely contested game.
Phil Sorfleet (+18) restored the Golf Club’s dominance, defeating Greg Todd (+50) 65-55 in frame six to put his side 5-1 up.
Gary Miller (+50) finished the match on a high note for Maryport Social, beating Mark Cowen (+12) 76-42 in frame seven to end the game at 5-2 to the Golf Club.
Golf Club A now sit in 5th place with 13 frames won, while Maryport Social remains in 8th with nine frames.
United Club B delivered a resounding 6-1 victory over club rivals United Club A, shaking up the standings and boosting their semi-final hopes.
Andrew Carter (+45) dismantled Dave Chapman (+24) in frame one 67-13 with a superb performance to put the B side 1-0 up.
Stephen Jackson (+35) played with precision to overcome Clive Lister (+18) 68-46 in the second as United B went 2-0 up.
Stephen Jackson and Shane Tallentire (+40) edged a tense battle against Peter O’Hagan and Mark Suitor (+19) in frame three’s doubles winning 69-61 for a 3-0 United B advantage.
In frame four United B double duo Andrew Carter and Stephen Jackson (+40) combined effectively to beat Dave Chapman and Andrew Mitchelhill (+21) 63-50, securing an unassailable 4-0 lead.
In frame five Adam Sowden (+46) maintained his teams’ dominance, defeating Peter O’Hagan (+6) 77-43 to extend the United B advantage to 5-0.
In the next Shane Tallentire (+45) added to the scoreline with a 57-41 victory over United A’s Mark Suitor (+32) to make the whitewash a real possibility at 6-0.
Nevertheless, United A salvaged a frame as Andrew Mitchelhill (+12) defeated Stephen Harrison (+37) 65-30 in the final frame to nick a point for 6-1.
United Club B move up to second place with three wins on 16 frames, while United A drop to third with 15 frames.
In the final game of the round Workington Conservative Club narrowly defeated Veterans Club B 4-3 in a fiercely contested encounter, consolidating their fourth place position.
Wayne Sinclair (+39) defeated Brian Kendall (+50) 62-23 in the first for a Vets B 1-0 lead.
In frame two Adam Hodgson (+45) played superbly to beat Julian Plaza (+45) and put the Vets B outfit 2-0 up.
Frame three saw Wayne Sinclair and Adam Hodgson (+42) make it 3-0 to United B as they proved victorious over Brian Kendall and Alan Moore (+32), 50-23.
In frame four, and the second of the doubles frames, Dave Holland (+26) and Ryan Barker got Cons off the mark with a 65-34 victory over Jordan Ferguson and Paul Johnston (+50), Holland making a brilliant break of 46 in the process.
Singles returned in frame five and with Simon Tootle (+50) on top form he beat Alan Moore (+13) 67-47, to give Vets B an unassailable 4-1 lead.
Dave Holland continued his with some more fine play in frame six as he defeated Jordan Ferguson (+50) on the black, 56-54 to pull one back for the Cons at 4-2.
In the last game of the match Ryan Barker (+21) secured the frame win for Cons with a 55-22 victory over Dan Hallam (+50) to pull the score back to just one adrift at 4-3.
Workington Cons now sits in fourth with 14 frames, while Veterans Club B stay in sixth with 14 frames.
