A Carlisle man has been jailed for over four years for drugs supply crime.
Christopher Lapping, 35, of Cant Crescent, admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine.
Police had seized cocaine with an estimated street value of over £300,000, leading to Lapping’s arrest.
Carlisle Crown Court sentenced him to four years and three months in prison.
A spokesman from Cumbria’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit said: “This is a great result for the team and we hope this sentence provide a clear warning to those involved in the supply of illegal drugs.
“Our officers will continue to be proactive in disrupting those involved in drug supply and will pursue those involved at every level.
“I am pleased we have been able to take a significant amount of cocaine off the streets which would have caused harm and misery to the most vulnerable people in our society.”
