
A Barrow youngster was among riders from across Europe who gathered for the Danny Webb GP Camp, known for nurturing future racing talents.
Travis Shaw attended the camp on Spain, and was guided by a stellar line-up of coaches, including former Moto3 rider and current World Endurance star Danny Webb, British Superbike riders Kyle Ryde and Charlie Nesbitt, and rising talents Lucas Brown, Evan Belford, and Luca Hopkins in an intensive week of training focused on bike control, track positioning, and race strategy.
Travis’ dad, Dan, said: “Travis demonstrated remarkable dedication and an eagerness to learn. Throughout the week, Travis showed consistent improvement, impressing the coaching team with his smooth and consistent riding style.
“His progress didn’t go unnoticed, earning him high praise and a valuable confidence boost.
“His riding style is naturally smooth, and he’s becoming more confident with every session. It’s great to see such consistency at this level.
