Touch rugby with a difference is coming soon to Cockermouth RU club’s Strawberry How base.
Two events have been announced, both organised by rugby union club stalwarts Chris Wright and Matthew Woodcock.
Thia isn’t your average touch rugby tournament as this one – christened Touchdown Beats – has several different aspects to it which will add to the entertainment.
All part of the night’s fun will be fancy dress, games, music, dancing and madness well into the night.
Several teams have already signed up for the events on Friday May 16 for girls and women and Friday June 20 for mixed teams.
Teams of 12 will contest the matches and is open to local businesses, groups of friends, local communities and sports clubs with all abilities welcome.
