
Two people have been arrested after an early hours assault outside a Barrow takeaway resulted in a man suffering a fractured skull.
The incident happened on Saturday, June 7, at around 2.50am outside Efes Continental Takeaway on Cavendish Street.
The incident involved two men. One of the men is described as having dark hair a moustache and was wearing a black T-shirt with a white design on the back.
Following the incident, a 22-year-old man from Cumbria was taken to hospital with a fractured skull and bleed on the brain.
A 27-year-old man from the North East has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and has been released on bail.
A 22-year-old woman, from Millom, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offending and has been released under investigation.
Police are seeking witnesses to this incident and said it was believed there was a man and woman present in the area during this assault.
