
Almost 100 tickets were issued for dangerous parking in four areas of the Lake District.
Yesterday, Sunday July 13, South Lakes police and council officials targeted Rayrigg Road in Bowness, Fell Foot in Newby Bridge, Monk Coniston and Devil’s Bridge, Kirkby Lonsdale after getting complaints about inconsiderate parking.
South Lakes police said it issued almost 100 traffic offence reports were issued for obstruction and dangerous position offences.
A vehicle was also seized after it had been abandoned on the Glebe in Bowness.
