Tom Kilifin has re-signed for Kendal Town ahead of the 2024/25 season.

He was the top scorer with the Mintcakes in the 2022/23 season in the North West Counties Premier Division.

That sparked interest from Bury and he moved on but it was a short-lived stay with the former Football League side and he moved to Lancaster City.

He was then loaned to Kendal to help regain fitness but he stayed at Parkside Road, scoring eight goals in 18 games in the Northern League.

Kilifin has had several spells with both Lancaster and Kendal, as well as briefly at Workington, and is extremely popular with the Mintcakes.

Kendal manager Matt Flynn said: “This is the man I’ve wanted all summer. I believe in Killer and think I can get the best out of him.

“He was outstanding for us at the back-end of last season and I know he will continue that form – providing both goals and assists. It’s great to have him back.”

Kendal play their final pre-season game on Saturday at Padiham (ko 2pm).

Again contesting the Northern League Division One, they open their campaign on July 26 at home to Newcastle Benfield.
