Borough Park

Workington Reds will start and finish the 2025/26 NPL Premier Division season with home fixtures.

They start on Saturday, August 9 at Borough Park against Whitby Town and complete their fixtures on April 25 against Leek Town.

That game, however, is expected to be played across the road at Workington Town’s Fibrus Community Stadium while work goes on at Borough Park, which will be the site of the new Cumbria Sports Village.

There’s a challenging trip on Boxing Day to League newcomers Cleethorpes United but New Year’s Day will see a home game with Lancaster City.

The league season gets underway on Saturday 9 August, with many teams at Step 4 level in FA Cup extra preliminary round action the week before.

A full programme of games is scheduled for the opening day, with the final day of the regular season due to be Saturday April 25.

Games over the festive period are scheduled for Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
