Two Workington Comets riders are set to ride for and against Redcar Bears this weekend.
Jacob Hook and Antti Vuolas will be in the Bears line up tonight at Redcar when they take on champions Poole Pirates.
Hook was one of the Comets heroes on Wednesday night when they earned the aggregate point at Poole.
Flying Finn Vuolas will have something to prove to the Pirates, however, as he had a disappointing night at Wimborne Road.
The North East side are still without Erik Riss due to illness whilst Jake Mulford is on international duty, with Vuolas and Hook coming in to guest.
Then tomorrow night (6pm) the pair will be back lining up for the Comets against Redcar at Northside.
Redcar star Danny King says tonight’s Cab Direct Championship clash with leaders Poole is the beginning of a defining weekend for the club.
Recent inactivity has seen the Bears slip to second from bottom in the standings, but they have the opportunity to climb the ladder again with the home match against the Pirates followed up by a trip to resurgent Workington on Saturday.

Meanwhile, last season’s Comets skipper Craig Cook is being replaced by Berwick Bandits.
Nick Morris is set to join the club from the beginning of next month.
The 31-year-old Australian has just completed a two-year suspension imposed for failing to provide a specimen to anti-doping officials at a meeting at Birmingham in 2023.
Morris will be going into his second spell with the club having previously raced for the Shielfield Park side in 2017.
Berwick owner Jamie Courtney said: “In previous years when we have suffered setbacks we have always tried to find replacements for injured and missing riders.
“But this season the stars have really aligned as first Jonas (Jeppesen) and then Nick were not only available but keen to join the Bandits’ cause.
“They are great replacements and will help us push on for that play-off place.”
