
A group of youngsters responsible for a spate of crime and anti-social behaviour in Whitehaven over the May half-term were made to wash police cars and carry out a litter pick.
Copeland Police said officers were able to identify the whole group following extensive enquiries using CCTV.
Copeland Police added: “Over the last couple of days the main offenders have attended Whitehaven Police Station to conduct a litter pick in Castle Park and wash police vehicles.”
