Half of the tickets available for Kendal Calling 2026 have already sold out – breaking all previous sale records.

Following the festival’s huge 20th birthday celebration last week, over 50 per cent of tickets for 2026 sold out in just 30 minutes this morning.

Early bird, release one, two, three and four are all officially sold out, including great plains and emperor’s fields tickets.

Organisers are promising another ‘mega edition’ of the festival next year and said while turning 20 was magical – 21 is a big birthday too.

Demand for tickets has already beaten last year and release four weekend tickets are now on sale.

Andy Smith, co-founder of the festival, said: “After what must have been our finest festival yet, it’s absolutely wonderful to see you turn out in record numbers again today.

“We’re still here in the fields, packing everything away, but we’re doing so with a spring in our step as we dream about what’s to come.

“Next year marks our 21st edition – a big milestone – and we’re full of ideas to make it another magical gathering.

“Thank you all for your incredible support. See you in the fields!”

Organisers added that 2026 line-up details will be revealed in the coming months.

Kendal Calling will return to Lowther Deer Park on July 30 until August 2 2026.
