TEGretail Maker’s Market will join Whitehaven’s Christmas light switch on this year.
The switch on will take place on Saturday November 15 and will run from 10am until 5pm.
Local artisans and independent makers will line King Street, featuring a range of handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, and artisan produce.
The market will take place alongside a day of performances and festive entertainment in the town, with the Christmas lights being officially switched on at 4.30pm.
The TEGretail Maker’s Market has become a highlight of the local calendar, helping to boost footfall in Whitehaven on market days.
It is also a regular feature in Maryport and the Whitehaven market is held on the third Saturday of every month.
Abi Greaves, Director of TEGretail, said: “TEGretail builds vibrant, sustainable communities in the heart of local high streets – bring people together to shop, learn, and work while supporting creativity and enterprise.
“We can’t wait to be part of this special event in Whitehaven’s festive calendar. We love the town and are proud to support it in every way we can.”
